Your responsibilities
As a Control System Development Engineer, you are responsible for the development, further development, and maintenance of control systems based on SIMATIC SPPA-T3000 and PCS 7. You work closely with designers, development engineers, and project managers to ensure that the control systems meet both technical requirements and market expectations.
You will become an important part of the development of future gas turbine solutions and contribute to improving working methods, processes, and technical solutions within the team.
- Develop and maintain control system applications for medium-sized gas turbines.
- Be responsible for technical solutions within assigned development projects.
- Configure and program control systems in Siemens T3000 and PCS 7.
- Develop control logic, sequences, interlocks, HMI/operator graphics, alarms, and reports.
- Ensure efficient change and version management and conduct thorough tests to ensure system quality.
- Integrate instrumentation and subsystems and handle communication via industrial protocols such as Profibus, Profinet, Modbus TCP, and OPC.
- Ensure that solutions comply with current standards regarding safety, quality, and cybersecurity.
- Contribute to the development of working methods and processes within the team.
- Share knowledge and support colleagues in daily development work.
Your profile
- Several years of experience working with automation and industrial control systems.
- Extensive experience with Siemens SIMATIC SPPA-T3000 and good knowledge of PCS 7.
- Experience in developing, configuring, and commissioning control systems.
- Good ability to read and interpret P&ID, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, and instrument datasheets.
- Very good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Experience working in international projects and cross-functional teams.
It is a big plus if you also have experience with:
- Modeling and simulation in MATLAB or similar tools.
- Functional Safety (SIL).
- Industrial cybersecurity.
- Network solutions and VMware environments.
